Even if you fill your mind with knowledge and spiritual wisdom, that’s NOT being MINDFUL. On the other hand, mindfulness is not about emptying your mind. SO WHAT IS IT…..??
Before we move on to an exercise to mindfulness, I’ll reiterate that Little MYSTERY of the MIND. Here it is in a Nutshell; Mindfulness is the AWARENESS That is NOT THINKING, but aware of thinking as well as aware of how we experience the World. When were Mindful we’re paying Attention on PURPOSE and Without JUDGEMENT and with an OPEN HEART to Whatever Arises Inside or Outside of US. That’s means, Mindfulness leads to a greater awareness of whatever you are experiencing, whether you like it or not. Anyone can practice mindfulness, a technique that has become a part of Western Therapy to help us deal with anger, anxiety, stress and all of those feelings that take us away from happiness.
With me, you will learn to become the watcher while doing the scan, you’ll remain aware of any thoughts that’ll come to your mind. Literally, watching your thoughts, stay focused on your breath and pay attention to your thoughts without getting carried away. THAT’S….IT!
VISUALIZATION; or mental imagery, making things happen, seeing the impossible, the improbable, and with a new eyes watching it manifests. In meditation, visualization is one way of focusing the mind and it’s often done with a particular intention in mind, such as achieving a goal, healing yourself, deep relaxation, making contact with spirit guides, or exploring inner realms.
Visualize an action, how you alternate your senses, breathing image, ballon meditating and an x-factor, this last one is great?, reminds much more of the LOA. As you see, there’re some exercises hopefully one of these suits you. Of course, the best way to understand visualization is to practice this method of focusing.
